We are currently hiring for 2 roles:

Experienced Semi Senior Accountant required

We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated semi senior accountant to complement our friendly professional team. This is a role in a vibrant, forward thinking, and independently owned accountancy practice located in Winchester.  Ideally our candidate will be a good all-rounder and possess the ability to think outside the box and add value to the services provided.

The main aspects of the role:

  • Preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership and Limited Company accounts, corporation tax returns, and various ad hoc statutory assignments.

  • Preparation and completion of monthly management accounts

  • Submitting VAT returns

  • Preparing cashflow forecasts

  • Knowledge of purchase order systems

  • Proficient with accounting software such as Xero, Synergist, Float, BTC

  • The ability to adhere to client systems and add value where possible

  • To be responsible for a portfolio of clients so confidence in liaising with clients is essential

  • Be able to assist other team members during busy periods.

  • Review of junior team member's work

  • Good communication skills within the team and with clients

  • An ability to work to deadlines

  • Attention to detail

Job Requirements:

The candidate would ideally be fully or part qualified.

A minimum of two years working within an accountancy practice is essential.

The candidate will have a good all round current compliance knowledge.

Full time hours of 37.5 a week.

The Package:

Salary according to qualifications and experience.

Company profit share scheme.

25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays.

Experienced Property Accountant required

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced property accountant to join our friendly and professional team in Winchester. We are considering either full time or part time for this role.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have good organisational skills

  • Eye for detail

  • Confident accounting with missing records

  • Confident with accounting software such as Xero

  • Proficient with Excel

  • Good communication skills within the team and with clients

  • Experience with Property accounts is a MUST

The Package:

Salary according to qualifications and experience.

Company profit share scheme.

25 days holidays plus 8 bank holidays (prorated for part time)

Assistance with future studies.

A relaxed working environment.
